C25K Success Story

Hi Guys I hope your running is going well and you are enjoying it. I just wanted to share with you all a little story of a group of non runners that have just completed this programme. Most of the runners have never run before, they range in age from 23 to 57. We had such a great spirit in the group which helped in the day to day sessions. We started back in March and ran through some pretty grotty weather to start with and baking sun to finish. Unfortunately we did loose some with niggling injuries and they are going to return at the next course.

Their graduation took place on Sunday 2nd June at Princes parkrun in Liverpool supported by our club Mossley Hill AC.

Each and everyone completed the run without stopping and with a great big smile on their faces. So a huge well done to them.

I have really enjoyed being their run leader and trying my best to motivate, encourage and hopefully bring a bit of fun to it too.

So a great big fat thank you to NHS C25K for your inspiration.
