Phone solution required

4 weeks in now, and so far I have carried my iPhone on each run (while also tracking the route on my Fitbit). Although I do find the visual feedback helpful, as the runs are getting longer I’d like to free up my hands. Any suggestions on phone holders for arms or anything else would be gratefully received!

I recently purchased the below. It's fairly comfortable. When it rains I put my iPhone in my pocket so it doesn't get wet.

Search running belt on Amazon, I carry my phone, keys etc in mine around my waist under my t-shirt and find it brilliant.

I have a freetoo running belt from Amazon- it is very comfy ( stretchy strap), & fits phone and keys. 😄

I have this running belt which is very practical- stretch belt with stretchy holes to fit phone, food and you have a little hook for keys too. I have been using mine for weeks now, didn’t want anything around my arm. I recommend it!

P.S: there quite a few brands, this is one amongst others

I have a running belt which I got from Sports Direct (sorry). which fits my phone, has a hook for a key ring and my front door key. I can fit mica keys in too if needed.

I used to have a strap on my arm but found it too difficult if I needed to access my phone mid run.

I have the arm strap and also find it annoying and the earphones wire. I will have to upgrade if I’m going to keep on running.

Of course you're going to keep on running... surely?

I really hope I am because I’m enjoying it. I’ve tried the gym a few times, stuck to it for a few years the first time but every year since then I’ve only managed to stay motivated and focused for a few weeks and then quit with the promise I’d go back. Really wasting my money on the gym membership.

I use the original Fitbelt. Recommend it to anyone that'll listen, it's really that good. My issue was tying my jacket around my waist and my things banging against my knees...not good. Now of course the weather had improved so I don't have a jacket. The belt was a God-send.

Thanks for the advice everyone. I’m not keen on having an arm band, so will look into the belts.

Hi - if you look on Amazon you can get a running arm band which works brilliantly - especially with some Bluetooth headphones

Free hands and no cables!

Not what you're looking for?
