Solution for dry air?

Hi everyone,

I'm doing C25K on my treadmill as the weather outside is frightful where I live. However, the air in my house is quite dry, which leads to nose pain/bleeds when I run. It's really strange, and I'm not sure why it's happening only when I run, but there you have it. I tried running a humidifier today and it helped some, but not a lot.

Has anyone else experienced this? Any tips?

When I was a kid we used to have little water reservoirs hooked on each radiator for this very issue... not seen them in any shops since though!

Breathe through your mouth? Little bit of vaseline up your nose?

I tried breathing through my mouth but it's very uncomfortable! I'll try the Vaseline trick, though, sounds intriguing. :)
