Wow! Week 8 run 2 done and boy did I enjoy that!! - can’t believe I’m actually saying that 😬
A couple of tweaks today seem to have helped.
Firstly I ate half a banana before setting out, where as up to now I’ve been setting out on an empty tummy, I think now I’m running longer I needed some fuel.
Secondly the ‘wonky’ road was fantastic! It slowed me right down as I was being so careful not to turn my ankle or land funny! My legs had to work even harder on the uneven ground and I was concentrating so hard on my step that I didn’t even notice the time passing 😃
Although I have done a smaller distance at a slower pace it meant my breathing was steady and gave me more power I think to comfortably finish the 28 mins.
All in all I have really enjoyed it today! Whoop whoop!!
