Just a brief update on my current progress.. successfully did 3 weeks of 5k Run's to get a good baseine again ..
Last week did 1 x 5k 1 x intervals, hmm. Forgot how hard they were even doing them gently .. and 1 x 6.5k longer slower run ..
Very pleased with my current progress .. also aided by doing core strengthening exercises at home 3 times a week and now the proud owner of a kettlebell.. just starting with that ..
The extra exercises are certainly helping and feeling much stronger in my runs ..
I maybe older lol but still learning about this running and staying fit and healthy lark .. this old dog certainly learning new things ..
