Just keep putting one foot in front of the other. The best advice seems to be go slowly and it seems to work.

Every run is a stretch based on the one before. For W5 just practice going slowly. You can do it - the programme wouldn’t have you do these runs otherwise. Enjoy the next one!

I’ve just completed week four about 2 hours ago. I really enjoyed the run, Pavarotti keeping me company throughout. Week 5 starts Monday. It will be tough but I will be building on what I’ve done from Weeks 1-4.

We’ve got this 😃

Week 5 run 1 completed earlier. Mel C album; Northern Star blasting away on my headphones. Singing and crying as I finished the run. It was so so hot I drank loads and loads.

I felt exactly the same when faced with Week 5! A lot of others on the forum did too. But guess what? I did it and was amazed when I ran non-stop (snail pace towards the end) for 20mins!!! You can do this 👍

If it helps, I found Week 5 much easier than Week 4. I cant tell you why, but I remember feeling much the same as you at that point.

Week 5 R1+2 has you running for times you have already run. It just slices them up differently.

So don’t worry about that - you’ve already done it! 😀

As for run 3 the program knows what it’s doing - trust it. You will be amazed at yourself and get the biggest buzz from completing it! Remember the mantra - slow and steady! 🐌🐌🐌

I detested Wk4 and even considered doing it again as I didn’t feel ready for W5 but the advice on here was keep with the programme, so I did and I much preferred W5. I don’t know what happens but as the weeks go by you build up your stamina, find a slow pace and just go with it. You’ll be fine - you’re almost half way through already! Good luck x

Well that’s true..hard to believe i have a month done so i won’t give up..thanks for the encouragement 👍

I ve just finished run 2 week 5 found it a lot easier than I thought not so sure how the final run for 20 mins will be but every time I kept saying I can’t to do this I then said of course you can you are ! I m even running some of them alone which I never thought I would . So you have got this you can do it 👍

Thanks for the encouragement Doodles 😊

Somebody said to me: just put one foot in front of the other. Slow and steady. And as simple as that advice is, it sort of works 😄 I just run slowly and listen to music that I like and somehow I manage to do more than I thought possible. You can do more than you think 🥇

Yes you can! 😉 my run is more of a shuffle believe me, but it can be done. Slowly does it!

You can do it! If i can, anyone can. W4 nearly broke me but the support of this forum pushed me through. Trust the programme. Good luck

Hey!!! How amazing, great stuff you've reached week five! Hoop whoop! I'd say...... The rubbish runs happen At Anytime, just happens and.... Prepare for it like think of it being incredibly difficult and what you're going to do to just keep going. That way I bet it won't be half as difficult as you can imagine?

Also I like jo Whiley's comment about imagine running with a hedge next to you... And try not to make your head Bob up and down..

Go slow, you can do it, and youre brilliant xxx
