I’ve been reading posts on here for a while but this is the first time I have posted. Things have been going really well up until today. Each run has been challenging but this is the first I have failed to finish. Within 5 minutes of running the pain in my lower legs was building. By 10 minutes in, it felt awful and I eventually stopped after 13 minutes running. I didn’t feel tired just in pain. I then hobbled home almost in tears. It’s now 2 hours later and my legs still don’t feel completely right. I’m not sure what to do. I’ve never had anything like this before. Over the past 6 years I’ve completed the plan twice. Last year I ran a 10k but stopped running in September. I restarted again 6 weeks ago and I’ve felt fine. Now I feel a bit panicked that I’ve done something that means I might have to stop. Should I try this run again on Thursday or give my legs more time to recover? Advice gratefully received.
Wk 6 run 3 - leg pain, had to stop now feeling... - Couch to 5K
Wk 6 run 3 - leg pain, had to stop now feeling disappointed

It happens. Running is an injury prone sport. So firstly you did the right thing by stopping. Trying to run through pain is always a bad idea. Next you need sufficient rest to recover, as long as it takes. Then start again a bit slower and see how it goes. But don't worry about it. A few days longer doesn't matter. I did week 2 for weeks.

Go get it checked out, by a sports physio, if rest and exercise do not cause improvement... we are not medical experts...Don't run.. and try some simple leg exercises and rest up too

So sorry to read about your run. I hope you recover and get back to running soon. Good luck.
I can't offer advice, but totally get what has been said above, esp consulting a sports physio. Had to myself following a knee injury while skiing and the strengthening exercises were brilliant. I do want to wish you a speedy recovery though instead. 😀
If it’s still continuing tomorrow see GP. Hopefully it’s less painful now 🙂
