What are top tips for running when it’s super hot?

I’ve bought a visor!

Try going out early morning or late evening. I went out middle of the day for a change today as I’m off work. Never again.

When I say late, I mean when the sub is really low. At this time of year that’s after 8pm. Nearer 9 would be better. It’s a nice time to run.

Running in the evening really needs to be after the sun has really dropped in the sky - at 330pm it’s going to be nearly as hot as noon (and, if you are in an urban area, hotter as the buildings are absorbing and giving off more heat).

I’d try and get up for a 6am or 7am run or wait until after 9pm - sunset is 920pm today where I am.
