Had a blast, totally loved it and would really recommend it to anyone who hasnβt run one before.
Surprised as I thought it was for fun!! The whole parkrun was in front of me, it was like they all sprinted!! ...well felt that way. I could here oldfloss in my ear βslow & steadyβ & really tried not to get carried away as I was determined to run for the whole 5k!! Had to conquer Mount Everest too and Ben Nevis....seriously what is that all about π. I was so relieved to hit the 4K marker & then almost panic when I knew I was running for the first time past 30mins π±π±. However I wasnβt being beat by the gremlins and said to myself ...I am earning my GinβS tonight!! Boom it worked and before I knew it I completed two firsts!! A full 5k run and running more than 30mins ππ.
Happy running everyone & a great weekend.
And back to 30mins for me on Monday..phew! π xx

Great achievement running it all as well. I tried for the first time today (didn't quite manage it) it's considerably more difficult than walking some of it x
Well done! PR is for everyone, walkers, pram pushers, dog walkers - and people out for PBs. The trick is to run at your pace and not worry about anyone else. Here's to the next one π
thanks, I had a blast! I really tried just to just focus on my pace, run...not sure I achieved that tho ππ and I will defo better bf doing it again xx
