So Iāve discovered today that running post argument with my daughter, in the heat & in a foul mood is not conducive with a successful runš±. This was meant to be wk8 run3 but I just couldnāt finish it. I managed 20 minutes before I stopped but Iām so disappointedš¦. Iāve got to be honest and say Iām struggling with wk8š

Try not to beat yourself up. It was still a 20 min run. Think of it as a practice run.
Running in the heat is tough.
Running in a foul mood can be good as you can channel it into your feet and pound the pavement instead but it does take practice. Best thing is to try and focus your mind on your footfall and breathing and you should find the mood dissipates.
Struggling is normal. Have a word with yourself though and re-establish why you want this and where you want it to take you. Could be gremlins are scrambling for control. Don't let them win! šš
Week 8 has been a mixed bag for me! I had the best run of the programme on D2 but completely struggled yesterday on D3. Iām surprised I even finished the run as I had mentally given up halfway through. I think this is just what happens - not every run is going to be a good one. Just keep your head up and try again! I have no doubt youāll be able to get to week 9.
I am on Wk 8 next will be run 3. For some reason I have found this week more about getting it done than inspirational. Have we got our minds on Wk 9? Perhaps being so close to that goal affects us in Wk 8....
