Just completed run 3 of week 8 in the drizzle and it was so refreshing 🌨 can’t believe there is only one more week and three runs and that’s it. If anyone had said eight weeks ago I would do this I would have thought they were mad!!
But please trust me if I can do it anyone can. According to charts I am still obese for my age, height and build but I am doing it and am coping and that is all that now matters to me.
This process is giving me so much more than running know how. It’s like a form of therapy and my confidence is growing and my sense of well being. Plus I love the fact that all over the UK lots of other lovely people are sharing this journey. Keep up the good work everyone and keep going, we can all do this!! 😊

I love running therapy too. I feel so much better and more positive about myself and everything in my life - and 6 months on from graduation can confidently say keep going and all the physical stuff improves too!
Was just looking at my profile pic this morning and can't believe how chunky I look and reckon I've lost about a stone without really changing how I eat - though this is all secondary to just feeling better, fitter and more confident.
There might only be a few runs until the end of the programme, but I hope you have built the habit of a lifetime. Believe me, running goes on giving, far more than a return to the couch could ever offer.
You look so happy! Well done! We definitely can do this! I struggle to keep my weight down too. Hope the running will help eventually! I also need to eat less.....
I've got the same run tomorrow unless the thunderstorms put us off!!
How amazing well done you!! How many of us are the weight we should be anyway don’t bother with them charts you are clearly very fit and should be proud of yourself - you go girl 😘xx
