Completed W6R2 this morning, not easy ....(can’t quite understand why when I’ve run the 20mins last week?) ....but anyway all done, the beautiful countryside I run in REALLY helps me!

Wish me luck for the big 25 mins next 🤞🏽

That does look beautiful! Don’t know why it wasn’t easy. Seen a few posts from people experiencing the same thing in week 6. I can’t really comment as got wk5r2 next.

Well done, anyway! Good luck for the big one! 😀

Well done for completing W6R2!

I found it really tough as well, specially the last 5 mins. I’ve done W6R3, it is tough but definitely doable.

As usual keep it slow and steady!

All the best for you next run and beyond!

I found it really tough too! I think R3 is meant to be easier - it's just one long run without the walk breaks ( I think!). Due to do it on Friday. Well done for getting thru R1&2 - they r sneaky little b*****s! Good luck for R3 & keep us posted.

I'm sure it's pyschological. You gear yourself up for the run you're doing so you mentally prepare for 20 minutes or you mentally prepare for 8. I've also read about the 'toxic 10', I'm sure there must be a nicer name for it, but basically the first 10 minutes when your body is adjusting to the demands of running, then suddenly you find yourself in a comfortable running rhythm, legs and lungs all warmed up. That certainly applies to me, I can't speak for others , but I find the first 10 minutes tough then suddenly start enjoying the run 😃 Keep going, you're doing grand 😃

Great views. Mediocre run!

Managed wk 8 run 1. Thought I'd share the amazing views in the French Alps.
