Week 6 completed! Woo hoo!

Can't quite believe I finished Week 6 this morning. I don't think I've ever run for 25' non stop in my life..but now I have. Feeling great. Recovery time quite quick, legs feeling a bit heavy now ( but just walked the dogs for their Sunday long walk) and generally feel healthier. Have lost 7 lbs since starting Couch to 5K. An unexpected bonus.

Definitely feel my issue is psychological more than anything else and I dread an uphill gradient...possibly more than I should and then I start to worry that I'll not be able to finish. Lots of learning going on and I'm finding I can change my posture and my technique to help me keep going. Consciously relaxing my feet has an incredibly beneficial effect. Who knew?!

Bring on Week 7 #feelinggood

Well done! I think the psychological aspect is the biggest challenge for lots of people at this stage. The body can do a lot more than the mind would let us believe. I’m sure the demons quiet down over time. I hope so anyway! Good luck with w7!
