Wow! So pleased with myself. Parkrun to finish the program and I am so proud of myself. This week I made myself start around the middle of the starters to train myself to ZONE OUT from the other runners. I got into a great rhythm and really settled. Just kept going and a lot of the time I was running alongside another two people. They would increase their speed but were not able to keep it up so I caught up with them again. This went on a few times then I just left them behind and kept to my own pace. It felt great. Laura told me I had done my 30 mns and I walked for about a minute then I just started running again and finished in a respectable time of 35.29 beating last week. I feel euphoric. So all you new runners who are in doubt, just TRUST the program and keep going. You CAN do it.
Now the dilemma of how to keep my motivation going without the goddess Laura. Are there podcasts with music for consolidation runs?

Congratulations on completing C25K with week 9 run 3 at parkrun, that does happen at times, other runners passing you then you passing them, great time of 35.29 at parkrun, now celebrate your wonderful achievement with 🍷 on graduating from C25K 🎓.
I use Spotify all the time with C25K, NRC and Strava. I usually have songs to learn. Great distraction from the run, (just occasional form check), and it forces me to listen without my instrument. You hear so much more.
Yes I too used the music in the podcast for distraction as I tried to remember the words of the songs. Ha ha anything rather than counting the minutes.
Well done on completing C25K with a park run 🎉🎉 I finished this week too 😀 I plan to stick with the program for A few weeks but am also wondering how to stay motivated.
Congratulations. Yes I too wonder about motivation. I found Couch25k+ podcasts yesterday and I think the stamina one will help with my parkruns. We just have to make sure we don't push ourselves too much and cause injury. Good luck.
