This morning I did week 5, run 2 in the early morning sunshine in a nearby nature reserve, it was beautiful. I’ve never been a runner and after telling my husband I was going to run 5k to which his response was “you’ll never do it” which only made me more determined, I downloaded the app. I can’t quite believe how much I’m enjoying running outside and that how quickly my legs and touché are becoming more shapely. Scheduled to do wk 5, run 3 on Tuesday and a bit nervous about the 20 mins non-stop but all I need to remember is I’m going to prove my man wrong. Here’s to all week 5 runners - prove my husband wrong too!

Good for you- my husband was astonished and then impressed when I started.
Don’t be nervous, the program really works & you are ready. It is more about convincing your brain that you can do it. Start slow and stay slow. I found it helpful psychologically to chop it into 5min bites in my mind. Good luck! 😀
