My recent x-ray shows arthritis in both hips & lower back, seeing doctor today, when I first went to see my doctor he gave me Co-codamol which I am not keen on so lets see what he suggests today. I tried to get through W1 of my CT5K but, had to give up, another problem I have is my calves which tightened up so much it's painful, I took runners advice eg. warm up exercises, I've tried a roller, calve sleeves, support stockings, lotions & even had a blood flow test at the hospital which came back fine so, if the arthritis doesn't get me the calves will, I also saw a sports physio.

Arthritis
Sorry to hear you're having such challenges! Sounds like you are pretty determined!
Are you able to get out for 3x week (or more) brisk walks? Brisk walking, especially if you can find a hilly route, will help keep your body moving and ready to launch back into c25k when you feel ready. And if walking isn't a good fit for you, hopefully you're able to find something else to keep you moving in the meantime?
Thank you Amandana I have been going out 3x week walking approximately 3 miles. I saw doctor yesterday & advised at the moment keep on taking painkillers & antiinflammatories the Arthritis apparently is early stages, I was told to keep exercising best I can & keep on healthy eating, I will at some time give C25K another go & I want to give park run another go I feel a bit miffed at 68 too young for arthritis (ha ha )
