Post run headaches

Anyone have trouble with headaches after they run? I’m prone to headaches/migraines anyway but notice when I run in the mornings I tend to feel quite headachey after and can last for a good chunk of the day. I try to drink before, after and during runs and this morning I ate half a banana a little bit before going for a run (I usually don’t eat before if I’m going first thing). Any suggestions?

Are you drinking enough water. I drink a while before running so that’s it’s absorbed....

Check out the info in house.FAQ Posts, links, previous experiences at the foot of your post.🤔👍

Hydration so important, hydrate each day and on your repair day for your run day.Last hour, last minute hydration🤔 insufficient. Hydration from your food also and be well Rested before your impact excretion.

Hope things improve.Not pleasant.

Take care of you.🌟👏👏

I have this problem. I find it's best to eat breakfast first these days - annoying because I used to be able to run a long way BEFORE breakfast. Ah well, such is life :)

I think that you need to drink well the day before you go, I don't drink immediately before I run as I go so early, but I really try to get more in the day before, and then after I have run. I don't think immediately before you go will have much impact.

Trial and error I suppose. :)

Me too, and hard to shake off. Had to resort to the anadin extra a couple of days ago. I probably do need to work more at drinking lots the day before a run. Lots of fluid on the day/after doesn't seem to help much. Don't really eat before but have previously had some nausea problems too so would then have to wait a few hours to go out.
