Been trying to run 5k for the last 10 years!

Have tried various programmes and given up in the middle more times than I care to remember. This time I feel like I might actually make it! Just completed week 5 run 1 and was even looking forward to it. That's NEVER happened! The next 2 runs might be a different story but trying not to over think it. Finding Michael bit more motivating than Sarah and really enjoyed being outside today. My aim is to finally do a Parkrun. Been registered for 3 years and never actually been 😀

Been registered 3 weeks and not dared although have run by the run.....

Well top marks for perseverance over time! 😀

C25K will see you through to 5k if you take it slowly and gently. Don’t worry about it taking 30mins, most people go slower and bag 5k sometime after W9 when they can run for longer. 😄

Thanks 😆. I don't expect I will be running 5ks by the end in that time...am barely faster than a walk. But I think that's why it's working. Suspect I have always tried to run too fast before.
