Had a fantastic week of runs for week 8 and I felt like I could have run further each time , so I thought I could take on week 9 no drama I was wrong?!? I’m struggling for the first 10 mins or so and feel really tired and out of breath I’ve experienced none of this so far I have one run left before my final one is an official 5k on Sunday ANY ADVUCE WOULD BE WELCOMED.

Hi and well done for getting to week 9 trouble free. My only thoughts are you are starting too fast? The toxic 10 can be a struggle. You know your own body best though.

Relax..breathe and slow down..the excitement is all too much :)

You will do this... just really, really relax... warm up well.. get some strength exercise in on your rest days and you will be fine. Take your 5K on Sunday as gently as you like... it is your first one?

The podium and we are waiting... cruise towards it:)

Try not to over think it at this stage. We all have bad run days (tired? fighting something off etc) . Sometimes there is no reason. Sometimes it's a mental thing. Maybe take an extra rest day and then go out there, take your time, believe you can do this ( look how far you have come!) and look forward to graduation and your 5k. You will be fab! Good luck. 🙂

I have a toxic 2k! Always takes a while to get into the rhythm of it. It’s common to find the start hard. Slow down too as you go further 👍🏽
