Post graduation runs week 1

I’m a very target orientated person so having achieved my target of finishing the programme I was a little bit apprehensive about how I would cope with no MJ to keep me going.

I also wasn’t keen on consolidating as no discernible target!

So I’ve started again, but this time I’m slow jogging the walk bits and picking up the speed for the run bits, keeping going for 30minutes. I still get to keep MJ so it’s a win win!

And I’m still enjoying it! Still no significant weight loss (about 3kg since starting) but definitely toning up and changing shape. Hopefully the weight will start to fall as I gain more muscle.

This forum is excellent - thank you for all of the support everyone gives to each other. While I don’t always comment, I love reading the advice.

Here’s to the next 8 weeks! 😊

Wow, you’re in Singapore. Must be quite hot and humid there right now and you’ve completed the program. I remember I travelled there and saw people running on the street and I was a sweaty mess just for walking around. Extra kudos to you!

I do most of my running on a treadmill in the air conditioned gym, but I have run outside if I’m up early enough and it’s still dark! Still sweat buckets though! You would think that I’d lose weight more easily but Singapore has the most amazing food 🤣
