I’m struggling to regulate my breathing when running I’m trying to take Laura’s tips on the pod cast. But I feel I struggle and breath really fast on the runs. Any tips? Xx

My suggestion is not to think about it, the more you run, the more your breathing will come naturally. If you’ve struggling for breath then maybe slow down a bit! Good luck!

I agree with Rammy. I find when I focus on my breathing I struggle more. I try not to think about it & just breathe normally.

Slow down and then slow down more and just breathe like you do all the time:)

I agree with everyone else - don’t focus too hard on the breathing, just slow down if it is terribly laboured. I used to (and still do sometimes) slow down and just try to regulate it. It gets better over time, as your fitness increases. Expect a little discomfort at first- but don’t let it freak you out - just slow down! x

I used the walking bits to really focus on getting my breathing right then forgot about it on the running bits. It got me into the swing of the breathing

When you get to the longer runs it sorts itself out...in the meantime just breathe! It does get easier, I promise
