Looking for advice, I am on week 8 and for the past weeks 8 weeks I have been both Running indoor on a treadmill and outside in the park. I have not had any issues so far but I did the whole week 7 on the treadmill where I can control the speed I am going at. Tonight I did my run outside and was running too fast (about 1 M/H faster then I am on the treadmill) so I am tiring myself out quickly and ended up stopping after 15 minuets of running. Any advice on how to slow down when outside as everything I do I just seem to end up going fast again.

You just have to learn to pace yourself. The recommended pace is one at which you can hold a clear ungasping conversation......an easy conversational pace.......this holds for wherever you are running, as outlined in the guide to the plan healthunlocked.com/couchto5...
