At the hospital today for a procedure and luckily they do not think there is anything wrong but when asked how I planned to travel back I said light jog 20 mins. They said it has been known for running to cause this condition. I did say we are only talking 3 miles daily so the very lightest of jogs circa 35 to 37 mins but thought I would ask if anyone here has had such an issue as it is a little concerning.

Hematuria
I would have a little word with your Gp, they will be in the best place to advise you.
Do you mean the procedure was to investigate haematuria or that running soon after the procedure might result in haematuria? (Oh how I hate the vague term 'procedure' - covers a multitude of different sorts of fun!)
(BTW some of us would not call your time for that distance the very lightest of jogs...)
The procedure, which was in no way fun, It was to investigate the possible cause and as it was so painful, medical reasons for that, there was definitely no running back. It was just a throwaway line as part of the chat prior to the procedure. I didn't want to go into details, but cystoscope. Did you know for some people running can be a part of the problem so thought I would ask if anyone else had the same symptoms. I am in no way using the site as a substitute and in fact I have spoken to a helpline, seen my GP, been x rayed, had blood tests and the procedure today. Thank you for saying so but I am still mid table. I would say I haven't improved my time since graduation but I run easier. For me that is a win.
