So last week I thought running for 3 mins felt like a long time. Then week 4 hits you. π―π―π― Time to woman up. I did it.
It was not pretty or fast, in fact I may have beaten some sort of slow running record - but I did it. And although I felt I was enduring all sorts of torture and giving myself a good telling off for getting myself into this overweight and unfit mess in the first place, I actually recovered pretty quickly and had a nice afternoon walk with my other half later. He ran rather quickly and at least 200 meters in front of me - but he also felt absolutely worn out for the rest of the day. And I didn't, ha π. So slow and steady as @Oldfloss keeps saying absolutely is the way to start out (I really am counting on picking up pace at some point)
Good for you hon! Well done. And remember that the tortoise beat the hare!! I'm nailing W3 and not stressing about W4 (yet). I'll just dial it down a notch for the first one and then I've beaten the b*stard!!
I am with you on this one - stressing about runs we haven't yet done won't help, just as well not to!! Let's just enjoy every run that we have done. ππ»ππ»ββοΈ
