Didn't like the walk in the middle: W6R2

I never thought I'd say this, but I really didn't want a recovery walk today. Running for ten minutes, I'd built up a steady (but slow) rhythm and things were going great. After the walk my calves had stiffened and the second run was much harder...thank goodness for it being a beautiful morning, which kept me going.

I can't believe i'm saying this: looking forward to running non-stop!

I got to that point too. My calves used to seize up in the recovery walks. Not long til those have gone for you anyway! Well done on your progress!

Completely agree. Felt the same when I did that run last week. I think it’s canny reverse psychology to get you all revved up for running non-stop from now on. If so, it worked..
