Proud of my efforts so far

After too many years of watching tv and eating chocolate I was inspired by my son and daughter-in-law to start the c25k and am now approaching week 4 run 3.

No repeats yet thankfully but that’s because I read loads of advice about running slowly and believe me I do! My husband is helping me by keeping log of my speed and I am slower now over each mile than I was in week 2 - but I don’t care! I’d rather complete the programme slowly than have amazing (for me) times but have to repeat runs.

Keep posting everyone - you’ve inspired me, the stereotype couch potato.

Absolutely - terrific to have got this far, and really looking forward to the rest of the programme. I am at exactly the same stage as you, with exactly the same approach - no repeats, no stopping, going as slowly as I need to get through each run. It seems to be working :)
