Not really enjoying it. Thought by now I would be loving running. Still finding it hard, I done 5 out of the 6 runs and on 2 them had to stop after 45 seconds breathe and then carry on running. Still determined to carry on but do think I'll be stuck on this week for a while. Also think I prefer running in the evening, the evening runs seem to be the ones I enjoy but I work evenings. Not that I think anyone's going to attack me at night but all I think is if my mate said she was running in the dark then my reply would be don't be so stupid, don't risk it. Think weekend runs are the the only choice.

Keep at it Dani, definitely takes a lot of people several weeks to feel they enjoy it, and not every run is enjoyable even if you love running. Are before or after work runs an option through the week?
It is very early days..and my suggestion is slow down..Relax..and enjoy the learning process..as the runs get longer you do eventually find your happy pace.
We do tend to head into this and go maybe a tad too quickly..land heavily..over breathe and hold ourselves tensely...so..just take it steady..believe how awesome you are..and very soon...and this will happen..you will be hooked.
Go you and well done !
Got to say I think you're correct about the slow and steady. Some times my speed feels slower but more natural and I'm all good. Now I'm sat at work I am glad I made the effort to go and do feel them good feelings... seemed to just be a bit delayed today lol
Slow and steady ... It's about building stamina and endurance not about pace. If I was racing a snail the snail would win 🤣🤣🤣 Don't give up, walk if you have to but keep at it, we are all on the same journey, we all struggle at times but it will be soooooo worth it in the end! If you have space for a second hand (foldable) treadmill, have a look on eBay, I bought one off there for £58 and can now run whenever I want 😃
