First run of week3 today and I can run 3 mins. Yay!!!

This programme is amazing and you guys here provide such good encouragement. Thanks everyone!

I keep record of my runs using Strava and noticed that even though I’m in my week 3, my total distance is almost same as what I managed to run on day 1 of week 1.

Is this normal? Anyone else have similar experience? How long does it take to improve the distance?

Wow! How beautiful!! Congrats on run! I am amazed by the program also. Every week think I can't do that - then I do!! Whoohooo!!

I’ve the same feeling at start of every week too πŸ˜€

I start my week on Saturday and then complete my run 2 & 3 on Monday and Wednesday, then take 2 days off before starting the next week.

Saturday because then I can start my run anytime during the day as soon as I manage break out of that feeling

Just checked my stats. My distance w1 and w3 were v similar also. That was surprising. I just did W4R1 today and it was a bit longer. I don't really look at distance tbh. I hadn't actually realised I could πŸ˜€. I am such a new runner it is more about actually breathing till.the end of the run πŸ˜‚πŸ€£πŸ˜‚πŸ€£

We'll done. Good job completing those first 3 minute runs.

It does seem a huge step up, but it feels good completing it.
