I have just completed week 3 run 1! I feel very proud of myself as I finished but my overall distance run is going down! I guess I must be running more slowly but I am finishing each run so I guess it will take some time to get to 5K!

Don't worry about distances/pace for now. It's very very early days, and slowing a bit as you increase the distance is both normal and sensible! ;) Remember, some of the extra distance will also have been in the extra walk intervals which you didn't have this week, too...

I found week 3 to be short distances but it is just because the overall work time is shorter, but you are running for a bigger percentage of the workout. Keep going and you will soon see the distances increase!

Please don't worry about speed - running for the required time is what it's about, and going slow is the way to achieve that. Sounds like you're doing great!
