Knee
I had this a fair bit, I used rest up with ice pack worked a treat
Ice pack works well after run. During I wear a knee sleeve which keeps it firm. Seems to help. Also when my knee does start to hurt I slow down.
As a newbie to running (I was a month or so ago) it's really important to pay attention to the position of your footfall. Understanding this really helped me. I found that as I warmed-up and got into my stride towards the end of the sessions, I was striding out more because I felt good and wanted to feel like a 'real' runner but it's the longer stride that can cause additional stress and subsequent pain - usally after you've run, not during the run.
Keeping a low pace, paying attention to a smooth, short, consistent stride and not thumping the ground too much, and running on a softer, more forgiving, surface if possible, all helped my aching knees and increased my enjoyment.
I also found using knee strap 'tubes' on both knees (that I found on Amazon - the tubes, not the knees) to be a massive help - not whilst running but immediately after and for a few hours.
There's some invaluable advice and guidance available here too:
