It definitely does - I’m on week 3 now, and for me the first run was the hardest by a mile. Key message is to run as slowly as you can, or need to, to get through each run. I found week one gradually got easier, and actually really enjoyed week 2.

Not necessarily.. BUT... you get stronger with each and every run.

Slow and steady does it and well done:)

Yes it definitely gets easier and more enjoyable, ( well it did for me), hang on in there! Go gently, slow & slower, one run at a time. 😃

I'm as fat as a house and chuff like a steam train when I do it. But I do it and it definitely gets more achievable, every single run.

Keep going and don't ever allow yourself to give up.

I'm sorry, this made me laugh so much..its an accurate description of me when I'm running! Only just finished wk1....really hard but I'm determined to keep at it.

By the time you have done W3 you would find W1 easy, but the plan is progressive, so you are stretched each week, but you will be aware of improvement very soon.

The guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

Enjoy your journey.

It doesn't necessarily feel easier but you run further each week which is progress! Good luck, you can do this 😁

I would say that IannodaTruffe has captured how I felt.

The ones you have done get easier, when you look back it gets easier, but by then you are pushing into the unchartered territory, which isn't easier.

But it is all building and preparing.

I did consider redoing week 1 just to amaze myself about the difference in me, but thought what a waste of time that would be.

I know how different I am, so I got my gear on and did 30 minutes .

Go slowly and enjoy it 🤗🤩

Yes it gets easier in the sense that the short time you are running now flashes past as part of the longer run you will be doing by then! I found the first few weeks tough going and yet loved it. Good luck!
