Congratulations 'mergirl101' I am about to complete round 3 of week 1.
AlMorr, thatβs fantastic, getting started was the hardest part! Just keep going and post every run in the forum. Itβs so supportive and fun, the weeks fly past! Good luck πββοΈπββοΈπββοΈ
Hi 'mergirl101', yes I completed round 3 of week 1 just this Monday morning, I reported somewhere else here on healthunlocked that my first round of week 1 was actually done on a scheduled 5k course near to where I live in Cumbernauld near Glasgow, perhaps I overdid that one although I felt fine afterwards, 1 minute run, 2 minutes walk, should have stopped after the first 7 runs at about 20 minutes but I felt in a good mood and continued with it for the whole of the 5k route, did it in 40 minutes, however for round 2 and 3 it was just 20 minutes the way it should be, once again congratulations to you for completing W9R3.
Well done AlMorr! Sounds like you are off to a great start! Howβs the weather in Glasgow?! I used to live in Burnside near Rutherglen π
Hi, the weather in Glasgow now at 10.30pm is windy and wet, we missed all that heat you got in London and the south-east last week, although Saturday was nice and warm 21c. Would have hated to run the London Marathon yesterday in that 24.1C heat, did you see all those pictures of the athletes collapsing in the heat, awful.
