My son just finished his first Marathon (very proud of him).

So taking the bull by the horns and choosing to challenge myself to Couch to 5K. Going to start on treadmill as need to build confidence before I go out in public.

Good Luck, keep us posted on your progress ..I run outside but go ridiculously early to avoid people but its surprising just how much your confidence grows.

Oh good for you!! I’ve just finished W1 and feel great. The thing about seeing people on your run is to remember they don’t know if you’ve just run for 1 minute or 60 minutes! Smile, say ‘morning’ and carry on. At least we are are doing it!!!

Good decision.

The guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

Enjoy your journey.

I run outside and don't worry about other people as there are so many running up and down the park and main road - and every size and stage of fitness. I smile at everyone and think to myself 'good for you' - and also let them know I am OK and don't need an ambulance. And people tend to smile back. Just go for it!

Well done to you both, 👏👏👏 and good luck with your C25K adventure. It doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks, just enjoy yourself 😀 and take it at your own pace.
