Never mind the weeks as long as there is a rest day in between each run.

Totally agree, let it go and carry on with the next run.  If the weeks are out of sync it really isn't important having the rest days and doing all the runs is.  Some people can't stand not doing a full week in one week as it bugs them, if you feel that take extra rest days and then move on to the next week rather than cram more runs in.
