Just managed to run.....not sure run or jog are the right words......managed to bob up and down, but did do it for 20mins without stopping.....,I always find the first 5-10 mins the hardest and then seem to settle down a bit......is that the same for everyone else? Still get totally embarrassed when I see people when I’m out running, do my utmost to avoid seeing anyone, took a different route this morning just so no one saw me....is that normal??

This plan is amazing I would never of thought I could run 20mins non stop 😀😀

Have a good week everyone

Congratulations! Perfectly normal, still do it but you have nothing at all to be embarrassed about, you’re doing something amazing 🏃🏽‍♀️👍☺️

Well done! Enjoy the feeling . If you want to avoid people then do. I found my embarrassment dwindled and now I don't care! The first 10 mins are the worst- there is advice on here about the toxic 10. Takes that long for your body to set up the right oxygen supply and then it settles down. Good luck with week 6 😀

Toxic 10... well known, or in my case.. toxic however long:)

You are doing wonderfully, so time to lose that fear of being seen... flaunt yourself...you are doing this and how!!!

Folk generally are too wrapped up in their own lives to notice us... if they do; then they are runners, who wish they were running, or folk who are jealous . because they wish they had the courage to run...or folk who are just awestruck by you :)

Move on to the lovely longer runs now, and let your legs begin to find their happy pace.. :)

Aaaah, thank you, that really made me smile......I’m sure you are totally right.....it’s just all that heavy breathing you hear in your own ear .....you think everyone can hear it too....but of course I’m sure they can’t.......thank you for those wonderful words of encouragement......will carry them with me through to next week

Enjoy your running 🏃‍♀️😀

Well done! Bobbing up and down is good 😃I always think running sounds far fetched when I say it too as I’m more a plod than a run 😂and perfectly normal not to want to see people I think ... not so bad strangers but people you know 😳😬🤣
