Hi I'm Colin

I'm getting myself fit & trying to lose more weight following a kidney transplant in April 2017. I started the couch25k 4 weeks ago on the treadmill.

I'm hoping to get plenty of info from here

Hi Colin, I've just completed on a treadmill all I can say is take it steady and you'll get there.

Good luck 🏃‍♂️

Keep at it and well don’t for going for this Colin. Overcoming major surgery and to take on this challenge is admirable.

I use a mix of the two outdoor and indoor and both get you moving I actually find running on the two types mixes things up for me.

Stay fit , stay well

Hello and welcome!

My 28 yr old daughter had a successful kidney transplant Oct 2016. Once she had the medical go ahead she used C25k to get back to running, completing her first post-transplant 5k in February 2017. She is now back to good health.

The main thing is to always ensure you are well hydrated, and be mindful of trips and falls. Listen to your body at all times.

You can do it. Happy running and enjoy!
