I'm totally new to running and asthmatic and have just at the end of week 1 so proud I managed to do this hoping week 2 is not to tough as starting outšŸ¤ž

Yes you should be proud. Well done indeed. Some runs are tough and some are easier. Just remember that if one is hard, it doesn't mean the next one will be (sadly that applies to good runs too!)

I found week 1 the hardest of the lot . I graduated mid December and running 5k three times a week now . You can do it !

Very well done you...keep it steady and slow.. and check your meds are working for you:) Look ahead with anticipation and not apprehension. Remember each run follows on from the one before and you get stronger with every single run:)

I know one run at a time I am looking at the end result and at the moment thinking how on earth am I gonna run that šŸ˜¦

Donā€™t look too far ahead or you will think it is not achievable. I am a novice at running and I am now on Week4. The plan does work so stick with it. Make sure you take your blue inhaler before the run. Keep your airways open. This is a preventative measure. I always use my inhaler before every run whether I need it or not. As Oldfloss said is to keep it steady and slow, which is good advice to prevent burnout. You can do this. I didnā€™t think I would be running but I have the bug now. Good luck. šŸ‘
