First thing I have changed my name to MichaelH070862 which is my name and date of birth. Anyway went for a walk this morning and started out on a 5k but did 6k the total time was just under 59 minutes but each kilometre was between 9 mins 30 secs in the middle and 10 mins for the last 2km I was quite pleased and amazed at the same time because didn’t, feel exhausted and could have gone further but we will see what happens next time out as I will try to go further.

I was thinking about your HM which I think is about 21 km and if I maintained the rate at which I did the 6km it should take me about 3 and a half hours but might think about that once the chemo is finished.

Sounds like a very good walk and a positive step. Great times. I race walk train as well as run and still find it amazing how fast a walking pace can be achieved.

I was quite pleased with the walk as it used to be my C25K route so I was quite happy that I could do the walk in 1 go will see if I can go further on Saturday and on Tuesday will be able to tell the doctor how my walk went.
