Just over a year ago i got to week 8 and thought I feel really fit now I will join the gym worst mistake I ever made. I stopped running and joined the gym and then completely stopped exercising all together because I hated the gym. Anyway I've downloaded the app again and tomorrow I will start running again finding the motivation has been hard ๐ค

They say that the very best exercise we can do - is the one that we keep on doing!!! I am a bit like you - in the past I have not kept on going to the gym. Over the past 6 months or so , I had to stop running due to injury and joined the gym. I have been able to keep it up so far although I am not a lover of the gym. But I also have been able to return slowly to running. Running is better for me
Good luck with the programme second time around. And what a lovely time of year to start, as hopefully you won't get rained off too often and can enjoy the spring flora and fauna. This morning I saw some fail new born lambs on my run, which was lovely.

Welcome back, if you want motivation I canโt think of a better place to look than this forum. I too hate the gym so instead I go to Bollywood classes, play badminton, yoga etc. My running fitness gives me so much more stamina to enjoy these things, I donโt think of it all as my exercise programme but my active life. Just like Bazza1234 says itโs what you keep doing that matters. I hope you enjoy your new start and perhaps spend your thinking time planning some exciting new activities ๐
