Hiya. Slow and steady and listen to what your body is telling you. I have just finished week 2 and must admit has gone better than I thought. I am.nit quick and am not planning on it either. Good luck 😁

Hi Tracey, welcome to the forum. You've come to the right place! and this is certainly a good time of year to get started.

Don't think about it any longer ... get out there and get running!

Take each run really slowly, this isn't a competition. Always take your rest days ... as many as your body needs.

Trust in the program, many have been successful including myself ... I'd never run before and am still amazed that I can actually run!

This forum will be your best friend, you'll get advice, support and encouragement here .... and keep posting so we know how you're getting on.

(Saying all that I'm assuming you haven't been advised not to run or do other high impact activity by the medical world)

You CAN do this ... good luck and happy running!

Hi thanks for your message I tried road running from scratch last year and due to health reasons my doctor said only treadmill but I’m ok with that as you said slow and steady I will let you know how tomorrow goes 😊

Take each run at a time. I did w2r1 last night and honestly didn’t think I’d make it through w1r1! Everyone on here is so supportive and ready to cheer you on! I’m also 52, overweight and have asthma! But together us old girls are going to graduate!
