Some of you know the serious health issues slinky has had to overcome for about the last 18 months, I was out with slinky this morning on her restart of c25k in some sunshine and coolness, it was just right for a run, she did well and made it look easy, and said it wasn't, with it feeling tough on the legs, so, what did she do? Just as I was thinking, slow down more!..seems that some of the c25k ways are still embedded in her mind, so a big help there! she enjoyed being back out at it and starting to run down the lane again (which has been widened in places since she was last there) and pass the field of horse's, so, bring on R2! π
This benefits me as well, getting out another 3 times during the week..π
The photo is from June 2017 the last run slinky did which was Parkrun, she looks OK there, but I noticed a distinct look of discomfort as she was approaching the finish line telling me something's amiss, and not long after was diagnosed with a large brain tumour, but, now all that has gone and consigned to history.. welcome back my love!π
