Completed my first run/jog last night! Felt really good. Knee a bit sore today, psyching myself up to go again tomorrow 😊

Well done to you. I think the first run is the hardest so good for you for doing it. Make sure you stretch afterwards and if your knee is still sore then take an extra rest day. There's no hurry to get through the programme.

Thank-you! Yes I’m pretty proud of myself 😊 Hope the knee holds up!

Careful with knees. My left played up through week 4 and 5 and the right through week 6 and 7! I got told by my sports physio buddy that it was strength in the thighs needed. I took pain tablets and ran through and was fine but that was definitely against advice on here. I was too impatient to do each run when scheduled, and pain nor driving snow would stop me! Be careful though.

Thank you for the advice, I’m going to try not to push it!
