Day 1!

Finished my first day about an hour ago. Safe to say it was much harder than I thought! I am only 25 but really really unfit and a little overweight. I’m an absolute pain for doing things and giving up so I’m hoping and praying I can stick to this!!

Welcome.. well done and check this link out... You have come to the right place:)

Mantra is.. slow and steady.... start slow, stay slow... follow the programme... take your rest days and keep posting.

Some extra non impact exercise on rest days may help your stamina and strength and general fitness...walking, cycling, swimming or strength and flex...

As for giving up...no chance,,,, we will not let that happen.... we will support, sympathise, empathise, encourage and give the odd shove if needed:) We will be running this with you

So...onward and upward... :)

PS

I will be the one whispering , slow and steady !

The programme helps you through - but the stickiness is up to you. We don’t have gangs to press gang you out!

Well done though on the first run - always the hardest.

A couple more runs and you'll be hooked. It gets easier and you'll feel great for achieving each and every run.👍😁

Matt_ you’ve done the hardest bit - starting the plan. I downloaded the app and then put off starting for an age, I really didn’t think I’d be able to do it. Today I started week 5, and I love it. The sense of achievement is amazing. It may not seem much to other people who haven’t done it, but look at the posts on here - everyone is behind you 100%. You can do it!
