Just before I go...,

Ok, sat here, contemplating things like, how unfit I am, how old I am, the fact that I can’t do exercise without suffering a shedload of pain, how lazy I am... and also that I AM going to do this at 3pm this afternoon. I live near Fazakerley hospital in Liverpool, so I’m going to start the “Couch to 5k” in the grounds, to avoid looking like a No. 17 bus that’s mounted the pavement. Wish me luck😊

You've already done the hardest part by deciding to start. I'm 56 and done 1st run of week 4 this morning and can now run for 5 mins at time. Motivation is the key, you can do it.

Hi for it, you will feel so good after. I have just completed week one and looking forward to week two.

Thanks for the encouragement everyone. Well it wasn’t as bad as I thought it might be. Did a couple of stretches when I got back home. Nice hot bath.. glad I did it.
