Well today was the first day of my couch to 5k. Day 1 run1 . I found it more difficult than I thought, when I read that it was 60 sec of running then 90sec of walking i thought I would not have a problem. I guess I am far more unfit than I believed I was ! i really want to achieve this, but my main problem is keeping motivated, so thought I would join here to gain some moral support !

First of all well done for getting started. We all started the same as you. (Breathing out of our arses for the first minute).

But as you will see as the program progresses your fitness will improve.

Just remember, slow and steady and try to breathe slowly too. Deep breaths while you run. There is a wealth of experience here so read the posts and use the advice of others and you won’t go far wrong. These guys and gals are awesome. We are all here for you, you “CAN” do this.

Good luck with your C25K journey. Steve

Well done! Quite simply, take it slow and steady, this is key to you staying the course, keep at it and you'll notice your fitness come up soon..😊
