I am just going to post having graduated! Please read it. I am in my 40’s, morbidly obese, have sciatica, diabetes, high blood pressure. It’s all to do with your mind - just don’t let it tell you that you can’t! You are more likely to give up due to your brain than your body. Go for it! XXx

Go for it ..me ..in my 50s overweight granny but loving every step ..on week 3 now and tbh there is a love hate relationship going on here but at the end of every run I am proud that I achieved it

I was overweight, unfit, and 47 when I did c25k. I still am overweight and 47, and I finished my first 8k yesterday, looking at a 10k at the end of June. You've got this!
Good luck! I'm also in my 40s and trying to get fit following donating a kidney to my son nearly a year ago. This programme is great, l'm on week 4 and really enjoying it!
Starting is the hardest part. Don't try to do any more than Laura tells you and you will get there. I did - and I didn't start till I was 60. And I hated running or even the thought of it all my life before then... Go for it - and keep coming back here to tell us about it.
