Take it slower. Do the 5 min walk and then jog slowly for the run bits. You can always speed up once you've done it a couple of times
Should I do the week one runs more than once?
Do each run until you complete it and have at least one repair day before tackling the next one.
The programme prepares you for each run and the next, but you are in control of how you feel and when you are ready.
It is not a race.
Enjoy it.
Slow and steady , to get the extra oxygen you need naturally and footfall under your hips to protect your initially weak legs.
Believe in you and trust the programme and forum.

Well done for getting started. This will change your life.🌟👏👏
Slow down
Just slow down your running sections, you need to run at a pace that you can maintain for the time required.
Every run will be something of a challenge but every run you do strengthens you just that little bit more ready to face the challenge of the next run but just remember slow and steady is the way to do it
I feel like I’m barely moving
Yup, lots of us feel like that, but if you are maintaining a running motion, even if the steps are tiny, you're good.
At the start I felt that if i went any slower, I’d be running backwards. Yet I’ve completed the programme and can now run for 30 mins. Yes it’s still very slow but that really isn’t the point. I’ve managed to avoid injury which is important for me (at 65) and I’ve never felt better. Keep going but be kind to yourself and go as slowly as you like.
Slow, slow, slow and even slower. The good thing is now you have a benchmark and most of us start the programme thinking ’60 seconds how hard can that be?’ and if it wasnt most of us it certainly was my thought. The initial spurt of enthusiasm can make you start off just a bit too fast, and when you’re unused to the exercise, that initial spurt then kills you.
To the right you have the FAQ posts, take time to give them the once over, they are invaluable. The great thing about the plan is that you can take it at your own pace, most of us took a lot longer than the 9 weeks to graduate. This run was useful, it’s given you some experience for next time, give yourself a day rest and have another bash. Best of luck

Then slow as you like... and then slower...this is a great journey, so just pull back, relax and enjoy
You need to complete each run before you move to the next as they each build on the one before. Take it really steadily and you will be fine
