Hi all, I started the programme yesterday and about half way through I was really struggling but I kept going! And did it! Felt so good afterwards too :)

Fabulous! 👏 welcome aboard!

This programme is fantastic and it teaches you more than just how to run! Just do one run at a time, don't look too far ahead and you'll be fine.

Read the guide to the programme healthunlocked.com/couchto5... it will answer any questions you may have.

Most of all Enjoy it 👍😁

Brilliant - thats the hardest one done. Sounds bizarre to say, but truly doing your first one requires a lot of commitment and going into the unknown. Now you know what running is like, it makes the next runs easier.

Good luck and happy running

Thanks! I do feel like I’m on a mission to want to do it now as well and it’s great to see so many other people doing it too! I think I over did it today as I did my second run this afternoon - so 2 runs in 24 hours. Gonna leave a day in between for the rest! How far along are you?

Yea, you got a bit over excited there! 🤣🤣 I understand why but always leave a rest day in between. Your muscles need this time to repair to be ready for your next one 👍😁

Please read the guide that GoGo_JoJo has linked to.

Rest days are sacresanct for new runners and essential to avoid injury, which could stop you dead, despite your enthusiasm.

Welcome but take care.
