I graduated last year, to my amazement and joy, but then got out of the habit when the mornings got cold and dark. Then we moved house and bla bla bla snow bla life bla lazybones etc. But I'm back with the lovely Laura - thought I'd jump in with Week 4 but it's nearly killed me - couldn't finish the last run!
Remind me that slow and steady is the way to go? Should I maybe go back a week, or just keep trying week 4?
Really glad to be back here though, with all the lovely supportive runners x

Each time I’ve started again, I’ve gone back to W1R1 partly so I feel the confidence of being able to complete the runs but also to get my body back into the swing of it and hopefully avoid injury. I guess you just have to go with the knowledge of your own fitness level and drop back a week at a time until you find your groove?
Good luck anyway and well done for starting up again! 👍🏼🙂
That's helpful, I might start right at the beginning. It would be nice to get my confidence up, and realise that (hopefully!) the earlier runs are easier than the first time I did them
I did a five week repeat of C25K just a while ago..it was brilliant... try it.. you may find it sets you up..no pressure and getting the legs going again Welcome back you!
I got to the end of week 8 and then had a long break - I started again today, with week 2 - thought I'd rather do something that felt manageable and not too depressing to start with!
