Well the potato got off the couch last week and completed week one. I didn't think this mid 50s grandma could start running but I did it! To be honest I haven't run since I was a toddler. So week 2 begins and got through the first run yay!
Grandma running!: Well the potato got off the... - Couch to 5K
Grandma running!
So well done.ππππββοΈ
Thank you, looking forward to the journey ..and I'm still smiling so thats a start.
Congratulations, oldladyruns. I love the name by the way but I think weβve been misled; 50-something is YOUNG! π
Hardly old. Lots of folks here much older and doing just fine πππββοΈ
Good luck. Slow as you like. Slow is best! πͺππββοΈ
Thats great to hear because I actually feel quite embarrassed for some reason ..running early so no one sees me
Well done! Iβve also just completed week one Iβm 60 and never in my wildest dreams did I think I could do it!
Fantastic, keep going!
Well done you..keep it slow and steady.. like an old lady should
Bet I am am older lady than you
Well done! As a fellow 50 something who hadn't run for over 35 years I find this program very worthwhile. Keep going!
Brilliant!! You're on the right path! You'll be amazed where this programme will take you ππ
Youβre not old - I checked according to the United Nations web site, they describe older people as being over 60, and even then they say that the 60+ definition is up for debate given increasing longevity. My GP said 50 was the new 40, so thatβs almost toddlerish...
Good luck with the rest of W2 (from an older runner than you but one who is definitely aiming at the new 40 age bracket)
